'Innovate' was the starting point and looking to create a textural quality to the poster to suggest the tactile and interactive experience of the fair. 
Exploration of letter forms with approx 40 versions of each character led to choosing a unique alphabet, cutting out the characters and exploring various means of mark making through different actions of both hard and smooth surfaces such as clay, concrete and charcoal.
